Camp Tall Turf
Mission:
Equipping youth for lives of reconciliation in God's world.

Vision: To pursue and advance God's vision of wholeness, unity, justice, peace and healing for today's increasingly diverse and urban world by rebuilding relationships that make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of youth.

Youth Camp (ages 8-13)
Located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Campbell, Camp Tall Turf has been instilling the biblical message of reconciliation in our campers for over 40 years. Our youth camp sessions are specifically designed to teach our campers about the value of diversity. Campers who attend Tall Turf develop critical cross-cultural skills in a fun, safe and engaging environment. In recent years, over 80% of our campers left Camp Tall Turf saying that they befriended someone from a different background than their own. Many of our past campers say that their time at Tall Turf was one of the most transformative life experiences they have had!

Adventure Camp (ages 14-17)
Adventure Camp takes the fundamental principals of our youth camp sessions a step further. Designed for teens, Adventure camp focuses on the need for young leaders in the journey of reconciliation. Adventure Campers engage in various team building activities that are designed to break down existing barriers between groups and lays the foundation for relationships of trust and respect. Tall Turf's teen Leader's In Training serve as peer mentors and motivators in this five day session.

Family Camps (Ages 2 and up)
Camp Tall Turf offers two unique Family Camp opportunities created to engage the family unit in our mission and vision of reconciliation. All of our Family Camp sessions take place over a weekend to facilitate working families. Family Camp sessions are loosely organized around our curriculum of reconciliation, but also offer lots of time for families to hang out and interact. We believe that one of the best ways to break down barriers is to have fun together! Family Camp sessions are a great way to spend a weekend away with your family, neighbors and community.
